April Expenses to Remember

I can’t believe we’re almost to April! It feels like Christmas just passed and we were all still putting our decorations away. Now we’re gearing up for all things Easter eggs and spring colors!

Here’s a list of things coming up in April that you may need to plan for.

Easter

Plan for Easter outfits, candy, baskets and more. Easter is one of my favorite holidays to celebrate, but I always make sure to plan and stock up early!

Tax Day (April 15)

As mentioned last month, prepare for Tax Day. There are a few things associated with taxes that you might need to pay for. If you have someone do your taxes, intend to pay for that service. Also, I like to have a buffer of money set aside in case we must pay in.

Spring Break

Another expense mentioned last month, Spring Break! Where we live on the west side, spring break is almost here! Make sure you’re ready for whatever plans you’ve made for this year’s spring break. Hotel rooms/AirBnb, flights, gas, food and souvenirs.

Outdoor activities

Now that spring is here, prepare for outdoors activities! Gardening, hiking, rollerblading, biking, etc. These activities add up and while it’s important to get out and enjoy the sunshine and get our bodies moving, it’s also a good idea to be ready in advance.
