Spring Break

Spring break is one of those things that we tend to forget coming up. If you haven’t up to this point, now is your chance to finalize plans you have, make sure you have money set aside, book places to stay and travel expenses, if you have any. Budget in how you’re going to eat while you’re away from home. If you’re going to stay at an AirBNB, plan to grocery shop on arrival and stock your “home away from home” kitchen. Don’t forget to include souvenirs and entertainment while you’re enjoying your spring break!

Guys, I’m doing a thing this year! I’m starting a garden to cut costs on produce. While some of you are already avid gardeners, us newbies have to get ALL. THE. SUPPLIES. Regardless of your stance on gardening, the warmer weather is a good indication that it’s time to start watching those spring sales and make a list of what you need this year-seeds, soil, compost tumbler, pots, etc.
