November Expenses to Remember

Feel okay about shopping on Black Friday and Cyber Monday when you budget for it in advance!

Thanksgiving-So begins the holiday celebrations that include food for Thanksgiving dinner, travel expenses (flights, transportation, accommodations) if your family is leaving town. Not to mention, Friendsgiving and all that comes with it. If you’re a baker like me, keep your eyes peeled for Kroger and Yoke’s annual baking sale at the end of the month!

Black Friday & Cyber Monday- While November brings Thanksgiving, it also brings the much-anticipated Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales! Try to plan for Christmas shopping and Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals you might try to snag.

Operation Christmas Child-it’s hard to believe that Christmas is almost upon us. One thing my family LOVES to participate in with our local church every year is Operation Christmas Child. This year the collection week will be from November 14-21, 2022.

Look Ahead:

Participating in an annual Secret Santa activity is doable with a budget!

Christmas-winter break activities (snowboarding, family excursions), pictures with Santa, work events (annual work Christmas party, Secret Santa and White Elephant gifts with coworkers/close friends) and travel expenses (flights, transportation, accommodations).

New Year’s Celebrations-get on top of your new year’s celebrations now (travel, hosting, etc). You can thank me later when the next 2 months are a blur!
